About us

S. S. D. V. Dnyanpeeth was founded in the year 1984. It is established and administered by Students' Welfare Society, and is located at Shegaon Road, Khamgaon. It is established by an enlightened group of educated men with a mission to provide high quality education, coupled with meaningful co-curricular activities. The major object of this institution is to educate the young generation in a spirit of service to the humanity. Its priorities in education are not only scholastics excellence, but also formation of new generation in discipline, hard work, moral and religious values. It is an educational institution affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and follows the textbooks and guidelines of the National Council for Educational Research and Training (NCERT).

Message from the President

Students Welfare Society was established in 1985 with two Objectives, one of them is Providing Quality Education to the children and another is Specialty Hospital in the town. My school under the name S. S. D. V. Dnyanpeeth whose mission is to provide students with an enriched and supportive aim that helps them to live and learn in a changing world. I believe that every child has talent, his own strength, if fostered in a caring environment will lead to success. I aim to provide a lively, warm and purposeful atmosphere for the pursuit of academic excellence. We prepare each student for a live with enduring values and conviction. To equipped them the capacity for intellectual thinking as well as practical reasoning, so they can make contribution to the Global Village.

The modern age is one of quick developments, spectacular achievements and unbelievable progress in every field. The astounding pace of changes is invigorating yet perplexing. Education strives for perfection of man's powers in their completeness. I firmly believe that education determines the character and skill of all children. The main part of intellectual education is not acquisition of facts but learning how to make facts live. Here we are teaching our children not how to cut flowers instead how to grow their own plants. With this vision SSDV made its humble beginning. SSDV always strives to light candles of greatness, to dissolve darkness of ignorance and fear. She perpetually exhorts her children to dream high. We do the duty to develop and equip the child as an individual, to train and motivate him and to teach him his responsibilities. SSDV is established for this noble purpose. Those who enter this institution will come through with flying colours. A rich may become poor, but literate will never become illiterate, educated will never become uneducated and a scholar will never become a fool. That is the perennial significance of education.

Objectives

Education is an integral part of our mission. For us, education is essentially a service and a means of liberation from ignorance and illiteracy. Our aim is the integral formation of the students towards developing their innate potentialities and helping them to grow in consciousness and self confidence. We also take keen interest to inculcate in them the sense of social rights and responsibilities. Education serves also as an effective tool for the development of the nation.
